Precision, speed, and flexibility are crucial in metal strip production. With our precision Traverse Winding Lines, we offer high-performance solutions for companies that want to efficiently process wide coils into narrow strip lengths. The Traverse Winding Line plays a central role here—as a key component for economical and reliable production.

The precision Traverse Winding Lines are optionally equipped with an integrated slitting shear. This allows wide coils to be unwound in a continuous process and cut into several slit strips exactly according to customer requirements. These slit strips can then be fed in parallel to several lay-up units – ideal for high production output and maximum material utilization.

Our lines are also impressive as stand-alone lines: individual rings are unwound, precisely welded together, and then wound oscillatingly with the laying winder. Depending on the application, winding takes place directly on the reel head, on cores, or on spools. This allows the laying winder to adapt flexibly to different materials and further processing steps.

Another advantage: the lines can be expanded to meet customer-specific requirements. Additions such as a thickness measuring device, a precision Leveling Machine, or an oiling device ensure even greater process control and consistently high product quality—even with demanding materials.
