Multi-Blanking is a process in which multiple blanks of different or equal widths with the same lengths are produced from a flat rolled master coil.

Efficient multi-blanking lines for precise coil processing

In this process, the coil is first cut into longitudinal strips, which can be equal or of different widths. Then, they are transversally cut into blanks and moved to the final stage to be stacked into bundles.

Depending on the requirements and productivity, our multi-blanking lines are equipped with fixed shears (start-stop), flying, rotating, or double eccentric shears for continuous line operations and accessorized with its matching stacking system for optimal output.

Depending on the required flatness precision and surface quality, these are exclusively equipped with our in-house SCHNUTZ precision leveling machines. In addition, we can integrate various measuring systems, side trimming, paper applicator devices, and scrap/reject disposal systems.
