Heavy coils of material are loaded onto the decoiler with a coil car. For higher productivity, a coil- and a sleeve storage can be used as well as a coil detection system to automatically load or off-load the decoiler – take off the empty sleeves.

Coil unloading has the purpose of taking off ready wound coils from the recoiler. Light weight coils can be taken off manually or by using a C-hook. For larger coil weights, B+S supplies the optimal coil removing systems such as coil cars and turnstiles.
