b+s group developed recently an innovative Shape Meter Roll that ensures impeccable product quality.

Advantages and Features:

the only flatness measuring roll in the world that was developed exclusively for Stretch-Bend-Leveling Lines
very robust design
available for light gauge and heavy gauge applications
non-driven roll (perfect match of strip speed and roll speed)
unique evaluation algorithm for measured values with highest precision
extremely linear measurement characteristics
highly innovative flatness control algorithm based on Internal Model Control (IMC) – resulting in extremely high control dynamics
various auto-tuning functions – resulting in extremely short commissioning times
to be installed in new Stretch-Bend-Leveling Lines and as replacement of old flatness rolls in existing lines

FABTECH 2022 – Precise cutting at the push of a button

With the fully automatic slitting shear, the b+s group once again demonstrates its expertise in this metal processing discipline at the trade fair. Thanks to the automatic system, the shear can be easily and flexibly adjusted to new coil widths between 700 and 1,850 mm.

As a result, the automatic slitting shear enables short set-up times and quick format changes. With speeds of up to 250 m/min, it creates the basis for increasing throughput in production.

Individual adaptations facilitate integration into existing production lines.

The automated adjustment system, together with the precise blades, meets the highest demands on the quality of the cut, as usual. The shears effortlessly cut up to seven slit strips. Material thicknesses between 0.2 and 3 mm can be processed with ease.

Successful in-house exhibition and SolutionDay 2022

Our first in-house exhibition and our first SolutionDay 2022 was a complete success. We had the pleasure to welcome numerous interested visitors and customers in our facilities. Many of our customers also took the opportunity to inform themselves about the current solutions and products of the b+s group, IMS Messsysteme GmbH, Raziol Zibulla & Sohn GmbH and WESERO HIGHTEC GMBH.

It was an exciting day, which we will certainly continue.

The new slitting line with three integrated tranverse winders is almost finished and ready for interal commissioning for our customer from the USA.
